Linear Technology - Home Page. Digital Signal Processing. About the Course The goal of the course is to develop a complete working set of digital signal processing notions from the ground up. DSP is arguably at the heart of the “digital revolution” that, in the space of just a few decades, has enabled unprecedented levels of interpersonal communication and of information availability. In the class, starting from the basic definitions of a discrete-time signal, we will work our way through Fourier analysis, filter design, sampling, interpolation and quantization to build a DSP toolset complete enough to analyze a practical communication system in detail. Hands-on examples and demonstration will be routinely used to close the gap between theory and practice. Course Format The class will consist of videolectures, each approximately 45 minutes in length; videos will contain some interactive quiz questions.

SPICE simulations of openEEG-Hardware. The INA118 instrumentation amplifier internally uses a 3 opamp design with a superbeta bipolar input stage. From the datasheet: "... DESCRIPTION The INA118 is a low power, general purpose instrumentation amplifier offering excellent accuracy. Its versatile 3-op amp design and small size make it ideal for a wide range of applications.

Current-feedback input circuitry provides wide bandwidth even at high gain (70kHz at G = 100). ... " The purpose of this simulation is to examine, if the often seen reference integrator (e.g. in INA118 datasheet FIGURE 6. AC-Coupled Instrumentation Amplifier) has substantial advantages over a simple output side passive C-R highpass in possible input and output voltage swing. Both swings determine the DC handling capability in EEG applications with DC coupled electrodes. Welcome to the OpenEEG project. About the project Many people are interested in what is called neurofeedback or EEG biofeedback training, a generic mental training method which makes the trainee consciously aware of the general activity in the brain. This method shows great potential for improving many mental capabilities and exploring consciousness. Other people want to do experiments with brain-computer interfaces or just want to have a look at their brain at work.

Unfortunately, commercial EEG devices are generally too expensive to become a hobbyist tool or toy. The OpenEEG project is about making plans and software for do-it-yourself EEG devices available for free (as in GPL). It is aimed toward amateurs who would like to experiment with EEG. Right now, this site is mostly about the hardware; schematics, part lists, building instructions etc. Some regulatory business Commercial and clinical EEG devices must live up to certain standards.
