Bits & Bobbles : How to Crochet an Apple

My mum was working on her latest projects when she mentioned that she wanted to crochet some fruit to sew onto her project, suddenly I was inspired to attempt to make an apple for her. After looking for some patterns, most of them were either just a circle or were a 3D apple which isn't what she wanted, so I decided to make my own design, this is what I came up with: The whole thing takes under 10 minutes and its very easy to do :) How to crochet an apple Start off with a magic loop and chain 2, Rnd 1: Do 14 Double crochets (dc) in the magic loop, pull the loop tight, join with the first chain with a slip stitch (sl st) and chain 2 (14) Rnd 2: Do 2 dc in each dc all the way around, join with first ch, do not chain (28) Finish off and weave in ends.

The Stem The Leaf Chain 8, Finish off, leaving a tail for sewing One completed Apple :) Apple Appliqué. By Janet Carrillo "damn it Janet, let's crochet!
