These dream-like installations are assembled, and then photographed by Norwegian artist Rune Guneriussen. Just imagine being out for a walk in Norway’s countryside, turning a corner and discovering a magical forest of lamps, a tangle of chairs, or a river of books. http://www.escapeintolife.com/photography/rune-guneriussen/

Rune Guneriussen & Escape Into Life

Developed by June Soft, Blank – Journal, Note is an app which helps people to constantly keep tabs on what they are thinking (Like we don’t have many of that already in the market). If Evernote is not exactly your cup of coffee and if you aren’t expecting anything exquisite, then Blank – Journal, Note might be a really good option. The first thing that you would tend to notice about Blank is its woody background and well-textured notebooks which gives it a very different outlook.

Forget about BeetleCam and other devices. A British photographer risked his life as he captured these wildlife shots. Jonathan Griffiths held his camera just inches away from tigers, bears and cougars as he took the pictures. http://www.inspirefirst.com/2011/01/26/eyes-creature/

70 Cutie Baby Animals Bring You a Good Mood | The Design Inspiration

Cuteness is usually characterized by some combination of infant-like physical traits, especially small body size with a disproportionately large head, large eyes, and round and softer body features. Infantile personality traits, such as playfulness, fragility, helplessness, curiosity, innocence, affectionate behavior, and a need to be nurtured are also generally considered cute. http://thedesigninspiration.com/articles/70-cutie-baby-animals-bring-your-a-good-mood/

dentsu: paint sound sculptures

first image dentsu: paint sound sculptures the creative studio dentsu, teamed up with photographer linden gledhill to create this series of paint sculptures using sound vibrations. the series was part of a campaign for canon’s pixma ink printer brand. the photographs and videos begin by wrapping a membrane around a small speaker. ink drops were placed on this membrane and the speaker was turned on. once it began to vibrate the ink begins to jump up and down. high-speed video cameras and still cameras were used to capture this including circling around the sculptures to see them from all angles. experimenting with different sounds and frequencies created the various pieces. http://www.designboom.com/weblog/cat/10/view/11774/dentsu-paint-sound-sculptures.html
