Well, this year at CES 2012, Android users needs not fret about missing appointments on the show floor as Google Maps have partnered with a selection of Vegas casinos to offer floor plans of the insides of the buildings. This is the first time Google maps have partnered with Las Vegas casinos, and just in time to help us navigate the show. The Google Maps Floor Plans tool offers information about your floor level location, info on your surrounding amenities- from restaurants to cashier locations and toilets. Zynga launches 'real money' online casino games in the UK. Zynga Poker Debuts On Google TV. Major social game company Zynga has decided to bring its popular Zynga Poker into the living room via a new native app for Google TV.
This new version of the game will run on any television using the Google TV platform, and has been specifically optimized to allow control via the Google TV remote. On Facebook, Zynga's poker title is currently the fifth most popular app, and pulls in more than 29 million monthly active users, according to AppData. The title's new Google TV version is Zynga's first direct foray into the smart TV market, a space that has offered increasing support for games over the last several months. For instance, set-top box company Roku recently added a motion-sensing game remote to its line of products, and AMD and Happy Cloud have partnered to stream Windows games to internet-enabled televisions. Pam Anderson is Launching a Poker Game on Facebook. We've always felt there's been one thing missing from our virtual poker experiences: Pamela Anderson. Luckily we received a press release today assuring us that the lack of Pam in most online poker games is about to be addressed. Mandala adds French touch to social casino games. Social casino games are hot this year. Mandala, a startup based in Nantes, France, hopes to add the French touch to them. The company just partnered with Hong Kong-based social gaming firm 6waves to publish Mandala’s upcoming La Riviera on Facebook. 6waves, which merged with Lolapps last year, has closed a lot of its internal development efforts and is relying on outside programmers for many of its social games.
Mandala has made its mark in France and now wants to become a player in the international market. Nadya Jahan (pictured right), chief executive of Mandala, said her aim is to stay focused on the creation of games and to rely on 6waves to publish the titles before a larger audience. 6waves will handle the international promotion of Mandala’s new title, enabling the company to spread what it calls its “made in France” values throughout the social gaming universe.
