http://www.goinghometoroost.com/2011/diy-craft-projects/diy-scratch-off-cards/ { scratch off save the date cards by martha stewart via how about orange? } this diy project instantly took me back to my childhood. i used to love (ok, still do) scratch off cards. there’s just something about the unknown, and the excitement of scratching off that silver paint to see what’s revealed underneath.

How to Make a Sunburst Mirror

http://www.thenester.com/2011/01/how-to-make-a-sunburst-mirror.html Ever since Janell made her ingeniously wonderful sunburst mirror I’ve wanted to make my own out of something unexpected. First you need a very high tech template. {Did you think I was gonna tell you to use paper towels to make it?} I folded 3 continuous half sheets of paper towel in half and cut a pointy shape. Folding it in half ensures your ray {shall we call them rays?}

How to Make Paper Lanterns - Cute Round Oriental Style

http://www.homemade-gifts-made-easy.com/make-paper-lanterns.html Looking for instructions on how to make paper lanterns? My husband designed an easy template for making paper lanterns in a cute round shape. They look a bit oriental, don't you think? These "lanterns" are purely decorative and aren't designed to have a lamp inside them, but they do make great festive decorations. In fact, they started out as a design for Christmas baubles.

The Chocolate Muffin Tree: Bubble Printing Fun!!!

http://www.thechocolatemuffintree.com/2011/05/bubble-printing-fun.html This weekend we were doing bubble activities galore: playing and printing with bubbles. Cassie enjoyed both. What inspired us to do this was when we were at friend's house and they had Crayola Colored Bubbles .
If you’d like to make these cute little “Flap Lock” Origami Envelopes–all you’ll need is a piece of square paper…any size. I used Christmas scrapbook paper. 1. Fold the paper in half to form a triangle. Make sure your edges are even. 2. http://www.graciousrain.com/2009/11/30/easy-origami-envelope/

Image transfers are magic to me. The ability to produce perfect lettering on a piece of wood without having to do it freehand is wonderful. There are many ways of transferring, but most use either heat or solvents which won't work on a painted surface. This will work. Think rub-ons. Lori Barker helped me with this.
Immediately after removing the paper, place it in a pan, and pour water over it. Hang paper to dry, marbleized side up. Do not touch the paper until it is dry (typically within 2 hours, depending on humidity levels). Decide whether to keep or discard your solution (it can be used several times). To change paint colors, lay strips of newsprint across the solution's surface, then remove; repeat with clean strips until the solution is clear. You can store the solution in an airtight jar for about a week.

I made a cash envelope clutch in January for the Paper Craft Planet challenge, and had a few requests on how to assemble it. So here it is, another sassy clutch using the Envelope Template . Supply List: Template: Standard Envelope Template Set by Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs Digital papers: Share the Moments Designer Kit by Danielle Engebretson Ribbons: Thin flat ribbons like binding tape, or Taffeta ribbon recommended Others: Magnet snaps, thread and needle, sticky double sided tape or glue. For the paper clutch, I printed two of the envelope templates on both sides of the paper, one for front flap & back body, and the other one for the front body.
