Voici donc Mambo, un CMS qui a de plus en plus de fidèles et qui se démarque des Nukes (phpnuke, postnuke...), Xoop, eXoop, Zope... par sa simplicité d’utilisation et d’administration : « Je clique, donc je code » Son menu d’administration présente les éléments de gestion du contenu plutôt que les fonctionnalités du logiciel. Comme le soutiennent les promoteurs : « Même Monique qui ne connaît pas grand chose en informatique, et en technologie web (html, php, mysql, etc...), peut facilement utiliser Mambo. » Bref, Mambo offre une navigation intuitive à tous les internautes.
