Data Providers | Kasabi

Kasabi for Data Kasabi hosts and makes your data accessible to a wide audience. People can browse high-level information about each of your sets, and quickly learn about what’s available and what they can do with it. As the data’s owner—and you will always own your own data—you can select the licensing and let developers know what they’re allowed to do with it. We see Kasabi as an ideal place to explore business models around data. As it is developed through the beta period, and beyond, the features we add to the publishing side of the market will allow for a wide range of flexibility in selling and marketing data.

Over the last few weeks we’ve had a few people ask us for screencasts of Kasabi. So we decided to set up a YouTube account and start uploading some short videos. We’ve published two so far but you can expect to see a lot more appearing over the coming weeks.

Data providers - bobdc.blog

While beta testing Talis's Kasabi, I got to wondering about the data publishing market: who out there is hosting raw data, potentially charging for it and passing money along to the data's providers? Poking around, I learned who the key names are. (Corrections welcome.) I accidentally stumbled across a few more when I followed a tweet from @xmlgrrl (a.k.a.

Take Control and Own Your Data

Benefit From the Data Economy You may not even know it, but you’re in the data business. Data about your phone calls, prescriptions, home energy use, purchases, investments, and more is being sold every day.
http://livedatabase.com/index.php More and more companies are realizing the value of their data, but chances are they aren't in the business of advertising their data products. LiveDatabase allows data sellers to "crowd-source" their data sales using affiliate licensing. When you sell your data on LiveDatabase or one of our partner marketplaces, the LiveDatabase community helps connect you to new potential data buyers. This drives the new data economy.
