It's a fairly large camp with a shop, restaurant and pool. The shop sells a wide variety of souvenirs and food.

Die Farm ist 7050 ha groß und liegt ca.1.000 m NN am Fuße des Gamsbergs (2.347m).Grootberg Lodge is a landmark in Namibia for the tourism industry as it is the first middle-market establishment in the country that is 100% owned by the conservancy. The European Union funded the project through the Ministry of Environment and Tourism's Development Programme with a donation of N$4.5 million to develop the 12-room Lodge.

U nsere Farm wurde im Jahre 1935 von unseren Eltern als Rinder- und Schaffarm aufgebaut. Wir haben diese dann im Jahre 1974 übernommen und mit unseren später fünf Kindern weitergeführt. 2001 haben wir dann mit dem Ausbau zu einer Gästefarm begonnen, wobei uns unsere Erfahrungen mit der Unterstützung bei dem Aufbau und der Organisation anderer Gästefarmen geholfen haben.
