I thought being a high school choir teacher would be the perfect marriage between my two loves. I’d get to spend my days working with young adults and music. While I love my job most days, there have also been several that make me question my career choices and plans. The fact that the school is struggling to figure out its budget has caused me even more stress. I’m afraid the day is coming when they decide the music program is no longer something they can afford.
