Thanks to a tip from @Nedra , I went and visited the online haunts of the Story Collider , a dark and mysterious place in the theater district of New York City. Turns out that Ben Lillie, who runs the Story Collider, is a former particle physicist. Not your usual stereotype of the actor/storyteller. He just wanted to experiment with a little sideline/hobby kind of thing, seeing how science and research weave themselves into our daily lives, and how they become stories, rather than facts and statistics. The hobby seems to have gotten out of hand.
