'IT Crowd' to get one last series, says Chris O'Dowd
Speaking to Digital Spy , O'Dowd confirmed that he will start filming new episodes of The IT Crowd "either at the end of this year [or the] start of next year". Asked if the comedy show would come to a close after the next run, he said: "I think so, we don't want to overstay our welcome. I think it would be good to do one last one rather than leave it where it is." O'Dowd joked that his IT Crowd co-star Richard Ayoade, who recently directed the well-received British comedy Submarine , is yet to offer him any acting work.
