The period is still a sweet reminiscence for many residents in the village as they found the rare opportunity of getting acquainted with the lifestyle of the great man of century first-hand against the tide of adversary media propaganda. Specifically, these have been mutual culinary influences to and from Mesopotamian cuisine, Anatolian cuisine, Caucasian cuisine, Indian cuisine,[1] and Central Asian cuisine.[2][3] The cuisine of Turkey is heavily influenced by that of Iran, due to geographical proximity, ethnic relations, and shared empires such as the Seljuks. Persian cuisine also influenced that of Afghanistan, and has spread into all but the southernmost parts of India during the Delhi Sultanate and Mughal Empire (see Mughlai cuisine).

It also traveled west to influence the cuisines of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia and thence into the cuisines of Russia and the Soviet Union. National cuisine[edit] Iranian/Persian Cuisine. " And, indeed, it may have been divine inspiration that prompted the Persian poet Firdawsi in the 10th century to begin writing what would become "The Shahnameh" or "Book of Kings. " A mixture of myth and history, the epic poem records the story of Persia from the beginning of time up until the 7th century Arab conquest in more than 100,000 rhymed lines. Later complemented with miniature paintings of sumptuous detail, it is regarded as among the greatest works of world literature and art. Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh Biography

He believed no country could be politically independent and free unless it first achieved economic independence. As he put it, "The moral aspect of oil nationalization is more important than its economic aspect. " He sought to renegotiate and reach an equitable and fair restitution of rights of Iran but was faced with intransigence by the company. To put an end to 150 years of British political interference, economic exploitation and plundering of Iran's national resources, Mossadegh engineered the nationalization of the oil industry.

Mossadegh first presented the idea of nationalization to the Majles mandated "Oil Commission" on March 8, 1951. ‪PressTV-Iran- North of Tabriz Churches‬‏ The Oldest Churches in West Azerbaijan-Iran-10-16-2011. ‪Parks of Tehran-Iran-06-26-2011‬‏ PressTV-Iran-Tehran's Water Fountains-10-24-2010. ‪Azadi Tower-Iran-06-26-2011‬‏ ‪PressTV-Iran-World's Largest Covered Bazaar-10-24-2010‬‏ Haft-Tanan-Iran-08-28-2011. In the latter part of the fifteenth century, the relationship between word and image became increasingly relaxed. Manuscript paintings began to occupy entire pages, while the text was relegated to small panels or eliminated altogether. The successful Iranian photographer, Azadeh Akhlaghi, initially wanted to become a poet. She was perhaps inspired by her birthplace, Shiraz, whose name is synonymous with poetry and has produced some of the most revered poets of Iran. Azadeh tried her hand at writing poetry, and actively participated in literary groups. But all this came to an abrupt end when she unexpectedly had to leave for Australia and take up computer studies in Melbourne, in accordance with her father’s wishes. Soon, however, she realized that this was not the right course for her, and so she switched to a subject that really interested her, film-making, at the same university.

Azadeh pursued her studies with great success, won a scholarship for a post-graduate course, and found well-paid employment. Back in Iran, Azadeh worked as an assistant director to Abbas Kiarostami and Manijeh Hekmat, and made a number of short films which have been screened in several film festivals abroad.
