The first form Ken Wilber 's unified theory took was of a bifurcating Spectrum of Consciousness supported by a an underlying Ground of Being. This then gave way to a very different diagram - the involution-evolution pre-trans cycle . The final stage or metamorphosis of his cosmology, and the most sophisticated, is the holon-quadrant The Big Three In 1995 Wilber published his 800 page opus Sex, Ecology, Spirituality . The core of its argument was a call to integrate "the Big Three"--the big three of art, morals, and science; or the Beautiful, the Good, and the True; or I, we, and it; or first-, second-, and third-person dimension.

COHEN: In our culture of narcissism, the majority of the individual's attention is focused on the emotional or feeling state of the egoic self-sense. And when that's the case, it's almost impossible to authentically relate to the idea of a larger moral, ethical, philosophical, and spiritual context that exists outside of the individual's subjective field of experience. If someone is intellectually sophisticated or cognitively developed, they have the capacity to recognize these larger truths, but because of where they are developmentally, they will probably find it difficult to have a direct emotional connection to them. And without the emotional connection, these truths won't really carry much moral weight . I've found out the hard way that unless a truth—whether it's absolute or relative—has a moral weight to it, its power to actually evoke any permanent transformation or evolutionary development is going to be severely limited.

Hogan’s holometer: Testing the hypothesis of a holographic universe
Conceptual design of the Fermilab holometer (Fermilab) In 2008, Fermilab particle astrophysicist Craig Hogan made waves with a mind-boggling proposition: The 3D universe in which we appear to live is no more than a hologram. Now he is building the most precise clock of all time to directly measure whether our reality is an illusion: a holometer. The idea that spacetime may not be entirely smooth — like a digital image that becomes increasingly pixelated as you zoom in — had been previously proposed by Stephen Hawking and others. Possible evidence for this model appeared last year in the unaccountable “noise” plaguing the GEO600 experiment in Germany, which searches for gravitational waves from black holes. To Hogan, the jitteriness suggested that the experiment had stumbled upon the lower limit of the spacetime pixels’ resolution.

I use the firefox plugub too + my tree is always open ;-) I've foubd a solution. Just tell me if you feel fine with it. 1- I accept to be your partner on your pearl "integral" 2- I invit you to be my partner on my pearl "approche intégrale" 3- I duplicate all you pearls in my pearltree 4- I change the name of my pearltree "integral" instead of "approches intégrale" => like that you will be able to pearl directly without any change for you 5- you delete or stop to use your former pearltree "integral" 6- we create a good team on a single pearltree "integral"...waiting for you feedback ;-) by ccesetti Jan 26
I'm all for no duplication, but I don't see an easy way to pearl on each other's trees. I'm rarely on the site because it is so slow for me. I use a Firefox plugin to pearl directly into my tree without having to use the site. by web3coach Jan 25
merci pour l'invitation. Je me demande cependant comment nous pourrions faire pour gagner en efficacité. Si je complète mon pearltree "approche intégrale" je ne le rajouterais pas dans votre pearltree "Integral" et vous ferez de même. Plusieurs soultions s'offrent à nous : 1- je fais équipe avec vous, bascule toutes mes perles dans notre équipe et suprime mon pearltree 2-nous faisons la même chose mais dans l'autre sens 3- nous prenons nos pearltree respectifs, les plaçons dans le pearltree dont nous sommes le fondateurs et les ajout de l'un se retrouveront automatiquemebt chez l'autre et tant pis pour les doublons...votre avis ? by ccesetti Jan 24
