LONGING FOR SOME LEISURE!!!

How I wish to enjoy; The bright Sunshine at dawn;the ever mysterious mountains;the sound of the flowing rivers;the roaming snow like clouds;the mighty waves of the Sea;the blossomed flowers in the garden;the infinite creatures and colors;defining the beauty of mother Nature;Oh! How I long to be in midst of Nature;but there is work to finish;food to cook and shops to visit;jobs to do and places to go;family to take care of;relationships to handle; How I long the day to be a little longer; How I long for a little leisure time;Just to sit quietly and listen;the beautiful music of Nature;the carefree birds and butterflies;time to hurry up but---Oh!

But it is Dusk again! Liza Lomax - Google+ - Today's new poem: Need        By: Liza Lomax Everything… My First Sweetheart. This is my contribution of the National Poetry Month.

My First Sweetheart

I am certainly not a poet, so please be kind. From out of the past, I heard the voice, Saying my name on the telephone, I had not heard that voice for thirty years, But I knew it as well as my own. I was so afraid to let him come, Afraid of what I would see, And afraid he'd find me old and ugly, And be disappointed in me. So many memories locked away, Because of heartbreak and wounded pride, Came rushing back when I saw him, Standing on the walkway outside. He looked the same as years before, I would have known him anywhere, His eyes were still as blue as the sea, Still tall and handsome, but with grey instead of brown hair. The years in between seem to melt away, As though they had never been, It was so good just to be with him , We laughed and talked like old lost friends.

He was the same person as years before, Warm, sweet, loving and kind to me, And that made my worse fears very real, For I had hoped that he would not be. Flying On the Wings of Love. Beyond Eternity. We Bang The Drum Slowly. We mark each station with tears and a prayer of sorrow a turning inside scouring our souls to find a deeper sense of our own existence a deeper well from which to draw empathy we mark the songs of those tears trailed in dust and blood a reminder of the ferocity of life flinging out hope with each cadenza that grief will mark our way home.

A few drops of chamomile tea, Two lavender buds, and sand from the sea, Left on a spoon by the window And small bottle under pillow Calls the sprinkler of golden glitter And to sweet dreams the heart will flitter —————————————- At the school library today, I realized April has come again and that means Poetry Month!

Sandman Charm (NaPoWriMo #3)

I have missed writing so much, with about 10 pages now of accumulated topic inspirations waiting in my notebook. Now time to catch up with my fellow NaPoWriMo-ers and bloggers! Thanks for reading, thebookybunhead. Butterflies By Haniel Long. Remember Forever. A Heart So Fragile. Thanks for the inspiration to Anita Lesic. She wrote a lovely love poem which reminded me of a Bing Crosby song. When she responded to my comment and knew the words to that lovely song it was pure inspiration. Here is the link to her poem: It was so fragile Put together Time and time again That it seemed to barely beat It had been battered Then shattered And it appeared that just perhaps. When I'm Lonely.
