Did you know...that you can make new earrings with a button and a paperclip? True story! I've been trying to think of a way for us to make some earrings without having to buy supplies. Buying the beads and all the findings can really add up. :o( Sad. But-oh, what? That still leaves the findings. Clip the top of the paperclip off with wire cutters: Snap off the button shanks: Glue the paperclip to the back of the button. Open the loop at the bottom of your earring hook by bending it outward and hook it onto your paper clip.

And...pretty new earrings! Walmart was out of gold sparkly ones (I like gold.) but here are some cute ones I found on Walmart.com(about $1-$2): And some cute ones on Etsy: This Etsy shop has infinity cute buttons, you have to see it. (click photos to see where to buy them!) Of course, you may have some on hand just waiting to use! Hope you enjoy. Have a great Sunday! Have a great Monday!!

Tutorial: How to Make Lovely Fabric Flowers. 29 May 2010 These elegant fabric flowers are very simple to make . . . and only take a few basic supplies. The finished product is delightfully lovely, and at times can look like a real flower! Every flower will turn out differently and that is part of the beauty!

If you haven’t used those tea lights in a while, now’s the time! I hope you enjoy making these as much as we do . . . below are instructions with pictures on how to make your own. Supplies: · Synthetic Silky Fabric · Scissors · Candle (preferably a tea light) Additional supplies: · Needle and Thread, Glue Dots or Glue Gun · Buttons and/or Beads Directions: 1. Make the largest one’s diameter about half an inch larger than you want the diameter of the flower, as the petals will end up shrinking a bit. 2. You can also cut around the pattern and skip the drawing part, it just might not be as uniform . . . but with these, uniform isn’t necessary. 3.

Cut just inside the drawn lines to make a circle out of the fabric. 4. 5. Easy Pleated Skirt - No Pattern Needed. One reason it's great to have extra fabric is that you can play a lot with how deep you want your pleats to be and how full you want the finished skirt. I tried out a bunch of different methods (including marking them all with a ruler and chalk) and then decided just to eyeball it.

Really, when you have a lot of pleats on your skirt, especially if it's a busy fabric, people won't notice the precision of your pleats. I ended up settling with 1" knife pleats. See the first diagram to show you how they should look. Iron and pin your pleats in place. Sew along the top of the pleats to hold them in place. Urban Decay was not kidding when they named these babies...they are indeed Super-Saturated with pigment. I have Lovechild, which is described as pale pink. While definitely pink, I would say this is more light-to-mid tone as opposed to pale. And, though the swatch looks more cool-toned, I find this to be a very balanced pink that should be very wearable for warm or cool undertones. I also have UD's Naked Lip Gloss in Lovechild and it is much more cool in undertone, which is a little confusing, since they share the same name.

Both are lovely, so I'm not going to split hairs here. Back to the product at hand, this truly seems like a highly-pigmented, creamy, opaque lipstick in pencil form.
