Shenmue II. Plot[edit] Following from where Shenmue left off, the third chapter of the Shenmue saga (The second chapter is released as a side story manga) begins with Ryo arriving in Hong Kong and searches for Master Tao Lishao, as he was instructed to do by his friend, Master Chen Yaowen.

Shenmue II

This mysterious and elusive individual is Ryo's only possible link to the whereabouts of Zhu Yuanda, a martial arts expert who sent Iwao Hazuki a letter which arrived too late warning of his impending murder at the hands of Lan Di. After a difficult search, Ryo finally meets Master Tao Lishao, a woman named Hong Xiuying; but she is unwilling to assist him in what she considers a futile quest for vengeance against Lan Di. The two part ways, although Xiuying continues to monitor Ryo's progress and they continue to meet on occasion. Through his continued search, Ryo discovers another individual, Ren Wuying, who may be able to assist him in locating Zhu Yuanda.

Shenmue II - Ending Scene Characters[edit] Geography[edit] Otogi: Myth of Demons. Plot[edit] The game's protagonist Raikoh Minamoto (based on Minamoto no Yorimitsu) was born into a clan of executioners under the emperor's command.

Otogi: Myth of Demons

Raikoh was given the order to kill his own father. He couldn't bring himself to do it, so he stole Soul Shrine, his clan's ancestral sword, and fled the capital city of Kyoto. Upon his departure the seal separating the demon and human worlds was broken. Kyoto was all but leveled and a wave of demons appeared. Gameplay[edit] Otogi boasted a number of notable features including destructible environments (for which the game awards the player) and an unusually high level count for a 3D action game (29 stages). Reception[edit] Cold Fear. Gameplay[edit] In Cold Fear, players control Tom Hansen, a member of the US Coast Guard.

Cold Fear

The game is played from a third-person perspective, with players free to use either the default fixed camera angle or switch to an over-the-shoulder camera to allow for more precise aiming.[8] The main enemies in the game are Russian mercenaries and various types of "Exos", such as "Exomutants" (mercenaries infected with parasitic Exocels), "Exoshades", "Exospectres" and "Exomasses".[9] Most infected enemies can be knocked down with two or three shots, but unless the brain is destroyed, they will not die, and will eventually attack Hansen again.

Players can destroy the brain by either by shooting enemies in the head, or knocking them down and stomping on their head.[10] If an enemy gets close to Hansen, the player can perform a critical hit by pressing a combination of buttons.[7][11] All exomutants are carrying an exocel within them. The game does not feature an inventory. Plot[edit] Music[edit] Phantom Dust. The game remains a cult hit.[2] The Xbox Live servers no longer support Online Multiplayer for Phantom Dust, or any other Xbox Original game.

Phantom Dust

Plot[edit] The story begins with a band of humans fighting their way to a pair of capsules suspended on an arch over an arena-like structure. A narrator describes the state of the planet: Earth is a wasteland, with its inhabitants suffering from amnesia and living underground to escape the mysterious dust that covers the surface. The Espers, a group of humans with the ability to control the dust to create a variety of skills, go onto the surface to search for the Ruins, a memory embedded into the minds of everyone living underground. Two men are taken from the capsules. The woman in the locket, Freia, is an independent Esper who tries to stop the protagonist from returning to the surface. From the memory box, it becomes apparent that Edgar was an astronaut who had been sent to the event horizon of a black hole far away from Earth.
