I think mine is an illustrative story of how the so-called "online jerks" can really ruin things up both for the community AND the company itself. After some while of people talking about it, I decide to try LoL. I register, download and start to play, never before having played any game in this genre outside of Starcraft. The minute I choose a character and his abilities, I start getting flamed REAL bad by ALL my teammates, about how I chose my abilities all wrong, without any ellucidation of what would be the right choices.
You can still vote with you wallet though. I think it's bizarre really. Seams to me some ISPs really are shooting themselves in the foot. Rather than doing what they should: using the huge amounts of YOUR MONEY they earn to upgrade their over-subscribed hardware (the real reason for throttling), they restrict the user. Point in case: Virgin.
