YES! Delft heeft in vijf jaar 72 bedrijven voortgebracht. Zo'n 400 directe en 900 indirecte banen heeft dit opgeleverd, met een omzet van 13 miljoen en ruim 28 miljoen investeringen. Honderd bedrijven kloppen jaarlijks aan Marco Waas, initiator en bestuurslid van de Delftse incubator, is trots op wat er de afgelopen vijf jaar is bereikt. De meeste technostarters ondervinden geen hinder van de wereldwijde economische malaise. Studenten werken een half jaar lang aan een concrete ontwerpopdracht uit het bedrijfsleven, en moeten hun idee wervend presenteren met een lonkend businessmodel. DDB 2014. Night of the Enterprises - This is the official site of the city of Delft for residents, tourists and business. The idea behind the first Night of the Enterprises on 19 November 2013 – a Dutch premiere – was to introduce Delft students and companies to one another in a low-key manner.
This evening 140 (international) students made a ‘quick tour’ to 15 Delft (technological) companies. The companies got the chance to make a stunning impression on their ‘future employees’ and also to show how creative, innovative and entrepreneurial they are. Demand of technicians The City of Delft operates as initiator and organizer of the Night of the Enterprises, in cooperation with TU Delft, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Inholland University of Applied Sciences and organizations MKB Delft, VNO-NCW West, ICT Kring and Bedrijvenkring Schieoevers.
The idea was formed by the Municipal Executive Board of Delft (college van B&W), that would like to retain more graduated students for the Delft knowledge economy.
