Pavement for 18-wheel truck traffic at industrial sites such as distribution centers and warehouses, intermodal and logistics centers, manufacturing plants, truck stops, and big-box retail facilities are ideal locations for the use of concrete. In today’s highly competitive market, we all need to identify opportunities where we can use our experience and existing knowledge to extend our markets and grow our businesses. This is just such an opportunity. Oil refineries have enhanced their processing capabilities in recent years, which has reduced the supply of the oil derivatives used in asphalt.
As a result, concrete is often the least expensive paving alternate even on a first-cost basis. Establish the owner’s criteria for success.

Today the final report was published. The main findings: Plant biotechnology does not pose risks to health or the environment. The economic benefits of GM crops for Swiss agriculture are currently small, but could increase in the future when new GM crops with combined traits, such as herbicide and disease resistance, become commercially available. The individual soldier remains the most valuable asset of the military, and in spite of the current emphasis on the threat of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and biological warfare (BW), attending to the soldier's needs when they become a casualty remains a top priority. Very little has changed in terms of the needs of the wounded soldier at the far-forward battlefield, especially during the "golden hour''. What has changed is the technology to significantly bring immediate care to the casualty. There is a significant opportunity to save the lives of soldiers by using forward deployed telesurgical capabilities to control the consequences of abdominal vascular injury.
The surgical robots resulting from DARPA research now being deployed and FDA approved are very exciting developments, but share significant limitations: bulky envelope, lack of haptic (force) feedback, and high costs.
