‘In the middle of no truth, there is a strange way for its existence. It is externally no different from a regular cup. However, the meaning that it internally contains has the background of ‘’. This cup does not mean, nothing was designed nor does it mean, the useless things have been eliminated. ‘’ is an eastern design that stimulates the inner senses.
Called ‘Tie Tea’ this cup is a very simple and smart idea by New York-based designer George Lee founder of le moutin noir & co ( “black sheep” ). “No more loosing your string with your teabag in a mug. Simply tie your teabag to the cleat and you are all set. This mug has a cleat on the lip much as a boat has a cleat on the dock to tie up to.” Similar to a boat that has a cleat on the dock, ‘Tie Tea’ allows users to simply tie the string of their tea pouch to the slots embedded on the lip of the cup.

Après « Espresso Solo » , la machine à expresso très concrète de Shmuel Linski pour Lavazza, voici un autre projet du Shenkar College of Engineering and Design , les tasses à café ultra minces de Sharona Merlin. Le design étonnant joue sur des proportions très inhabituelles pour une tasse à café. La tasse et sa soucoupe sont très aplaties. Esthétiquement l’ensemble est particulièrement réussi.Para quem adora tomar um cafezinho fresco, esta ideia aqui é bem interessante. A Kapu é uma colher medidora, mas que também possui uma segunda função: fechar o pacote do pó de café. Iso mesmo!
