Occupy Bath protesters quit camp | World news. Protesters who set up camp on council land in Bath have ended their 41-day demonstration but vowed to fight on. The protesters set up camp in Queen Square on 30 October. Those who remained began packing up at 11am. A statement posted on the Occupy Bath Facebook page read: "Today is the 41st day of Occupy Bath's Queen Square camp. During that time we have set up and maintained a functioning community with an open and friendly atmosphere which has provided a space for discussion and debate.

"In order to focus our efforts and energy on more constructive community projects such as the Bath people's assembly, we have decided to end our current camp at Queen Square and move on to the next phase in our plans. A spokesman for Occupy Bath said: "Occupy Bath will continue in the form of the Bath people's assembly, with the aim of continuing to raise awareness and helping those who wish to bring about real democracy and a fairer and more peaceful world. " Occupy plans to shut down US west coast ports | World news. Occupy Portland is one of the groups said to be joining the west coast port shutdown. Photograph: Natalie Behring/Getty Images The Occupy movement will attempt to shut down all the major ports on the west coast of the US in support of a union battle in Longview, Washington, despite the union opposing the action.

Thousands of protesters from various west coast occupations are expected to take part on Monday 12 December. The action is intended to support a long-running International Longshore Workers' Union (ILWU) fight to prevent a terminal operator using workers from a different union. However, a row has broken out in advance of the shutdown, with the ILWU asking Occupy protesters to call off the action. Occupy Oakland, which organised a "general strike" and shut down Oakland's port in early November, has partnered with occupations including Portland, Los Angeles, San Diego, Tacoma and Seattle in a bid to stop all port activity on America's west coast.

BUFFALO, NY - The "Occupy Buffalo" movement was joined by several other groups on Saturday to celebrate what they say is fair and full employment in New York State. Protester Albert Brown told us, "It's a chance for workers to have their issues highlighted and to give their voice amplification because workers in this country have been paying their fair share, been working hard.

" The groups gathered in Niagara Square and then started a march to Verizon headquarters, the Post Office and the New York State Office Building. They are calling on major corporations to "do right by the working people. " Brown added, "The 1% has taken everything they can and it's time for them to pay their fair share. And the workers are standing together saying that's the way it's going to be.

The Latest Winter Plan for Occupy Wall Street. Adbusters, the organization that launched 'Occupy Wall Street,' is advising occupiers: We can accelerate the #OCCUPYHOMES meme by making a concerted push on December 6 and beyond to set up squats in bank-owned, foreclosed homes. In addition, we can facilitate the #OCCUPYMIGRATION of occupiers from hostile to friendly cities. There are, for example, over ninety tents at #OCCUPYBERKELEY even though #OCCUPYOAKLAND's encampment a few miles away has been shut down. While the corporate-State chases symbolic tents, we can start consolidating and fortifying our outdoor encampments in friendly territory until we are strong enough to resist foreclosure.

Meanwhile in cities everywhere, let's quietly set up local indoor Occupy Homes in every neighborhood. Both of these spaces just might become the bases for our Spring Offensive. This is likely to mean a lot of plotting by those who want to co-opt the movement, and there are many. Should be an interesting Spring. OCCUPYTV | OCCUPY NETWORK. They have Sworn Oaths to Defend and Protect the Constitution. This is an open call to bring the Constitution into the future of all Americans. It has been treated without regard for the words contained within it. The Patriot Act and House Apportionment Rules. The intentions of the Founders made it clear that the goal of the House was meant to be a amorphous public voice driven by the shifts in popular trends.

The Fourth Amendment has been crippled by those who seek to undermine the protections we all share under the Constitution, to practice our right to privacy. We demand a Constitutional Convention!
