With the support of industrial experienced business coaches, we contribute so that new Swedish technology companies can grow and compete internationally and generate exports to Stockholm.
Through our venture capital fund STING Capital and the investment network STING Business Angels, we also offer financing in the early stages. STING evaluates 140-180 projects/companies per year, mainly within ICT, medtech and cleantech, but from a tough selection process, only 10-15 companies are adopted in our incubator.
STING started its operations in 2002 and has to date contributed to some 30 Swedish technology company successes. Virtual Grasp is the next generation computer interface. Today, we use keyboard, mouse or manual controls to interact with a computer, but Virtual Grasp will allow us to use our hands to grasp objects in a 3D world created by the computer.
At the final of the Startup program for entrepreneurs, run by STING and KTH Innovation, Virtual Grasp was crowned "Startup of the Year" and received a prize of SEK 10 000. - We are really surprised and very hapy to win Startup of the Year.
