Star Wars Mini Amigurumi - lots of images! I've been working on these little Star Wars guys on and off for a couple of years, and now I've finshed writing up the patterns for all of them.

Star Wars Mini Amigurumi - lots of images!

Partly inspired by my and my children's love of Star Wars, and the way Star Wars Lego looks so cute, I realised that I wanted to crochet mini versions of all my favourite characters. It's taken so long because of wanting to keep them stylistically similar even though the characters are very varied. I also wanted them to be different sizes, so that Leia is taller than R2-D2, and Vader is taller than Han, for example, but not perfectly proportionally, or Chewie ends up being too tall. As it is, Yoda is 2.5" tall and Chewbacca is 4.5" tall, with the rest fitting in between them.

I made Yoda first, he's pretty simple and easily identifiable, then Leia (my favourite character, the one I identify with) whose iconic hairstyle is perfectly suited to be reproduced in crochet. Some of them took longer than others to perfect. Kokeshi Doll - Amigurumi Patterns.net. Valentine Teddy - Amigurumi Patterns.net. heavens_hellcat: Pattern for a slightly fierce but friendly really Dragon.

In particular I've made the wings stronger so they will stick out better. The new version is too long to post here, but you can download the pattern from Ravelry: You can also see photos of the new Fierce Little Dragon at my Flickr: Of course, you can still follow the pattern below if you find that easier, but do check out the new wings, you may prefer them. Edited May 2011* I'm going to assume that anyone who tries to make this has a reasonable knowledge of crochet & making amigurumi, and that you know how to increase and decrease. Use a 3.5mm (E) hook.Use any yarn you like, you may need to increase the hook size if you use a very chunky yarn. Start at the dragon’s nose: Nostrils:8 sc in ring, FO leaving a bit of a tail.8 sc in ring, then sc into any stitch on the first ring and go all the way around both of them, ending up with 16 st. You make the spikes continuously. Bride and Groom Lovebirds - Amigurumi Patterns.net. Free animals amigurumi patterns.
