V season two | TV Series Finale
The aliens came and, despite some ratings challenges, they are staying — for at least one more season. ABC has renewed the V TV show for a second season.
Some story lines just never get old -- star-crossed lovers, mistaken identity, lizard men from outer space. It's impossible to tiptoe around the main plot device of ABC's "V" -- those aliens may be smart and purty but they're up to no good -- because it is, of course, a remake of the 1983 miniseries. And even if it weren't, writers Kenneth Johnson and Scott Peters have infused the pilot with as many sly sci-fi references as CG special effects.

" V " Season 3 is awaiting renewal from ABC for the 2011-2012 season. ABC "V" (2011 TV show) is a thrilling drama series about the world's first alien encounter. Simultaneously appearing over every major city in the world, the Visitors (or V's) arrived offering us the wonders of their technology and promoting peace. While the world quickly embraced the V's as saviors, an FBI Counter Terrorist Agent, and others making up the resistance group called The Fifth Column, quickly discovered that the Visitors are not who they said they were. Will humanity stop being fooled and realize the Visitors true intentions before it becomes too late and they take over Earth?
