I especially like the backlit keyboard but the light isn't in the keys only around them so it really doesn't help to identify them in the dark, it just looks cool. For a laptop this size it feels like it weighs the same as a standard 15.6" laptop.
The screen is nice and bright and has that tiny bit of crisp to it that makes it pop. Installing Win7 wasn't as tricky as some other Win8 laptops. I don't think MSI was trying to be flashy with this gaming laptop. Cons: All of my cons are really not significant but I feel the need to point them out. The track pad is pretty bad. I don't see a way to remove the battery without a screwdriver and taking off the entire bottom plate.
