Pancakes, served with a side of science

I’m not much of a cook, but brunch is by far my favorite meal. So I decided that it’s time to take matters into my own hands, and improve my pancake making skills. Oddly enough, the first job I ever had as a college freshman was as a breakfast chef in my dorm. Back then, I’d make pancakes from a box, using Aunt Jemima’s pancake mix. I’ve since realized that it’s not much harder to make pancakes from scratch, and it’s a whole lot more gratifying.

So where do we begin? Like any scientist worth their salt (sorry), I decided to answer this question with a graph. But the maker of Sleep101, a company called Zeo, has been in this game for a while — and it's letting users benefit from the nearly one million nights of sleep data they’ve collected so far. The app tracks your bed movement to provide users with a timeline of when they were asleep and when they were awake. SEE ALSO: Want to Sleep Like a Baby? Other apps such as SleepTime and Dream:ON also allow smartphone users to track their sleep based on how much they move by placing their smartphone on the bed. The same may well go for Sleep101, but at least it'll save you from spending your latte money on an app. Individual monitoring devices like the Fitbit Ultra and The Lark might be more accurate for sleepers who share a bed with someone.

Would you kick this app out of bed? Where and How to Meet Potential Investors - Grasshoper Blog. For starters, not every business can run with zero operating costs. Some types of businesses, particularly those involving transportation, hardware manufacturing, or a retail business, still require an initial capital investment. And even for the purely digital business, costs tend to find a way of rising once users jump on board and server costs grow. So how can entrepreneurs find investors? Here are a few options to get started: Friends and family The first round of money should come from your FFFs — friends, family, and fools. Accordingly, entrepreneurs should work to establish fair pricing and respect the great risk that their friends and family are undertaking.
