Home. About SORDAC Established in 1991, the Special Operations Research, Development, and Acquisition Center (SORDAC) is responsible for all USSOCOM research, development, acquisition, procurement, and logistics.
SORDAC works closely with government, academia, and industry in meeting its mission to provide rapid and focused acquisition, technology, and logistics support to Warfighters, delivering the most effective capabilities to our Special Operations Forces. Our Organization SORDAC comprises seven Program Executive Offices and five Directorates. Together, they manage and support the development, acquisition, and fielding of critical items to enable a no-fail mission for the SOF Warfighter.
