If I haven’t mentioned it before, I love Coconut Oil! Making homemade deodorant has been on my to-do list for quite awhile now. I really wish I had gotten to it sooner! Because it was so easy and it works wonderfully! After using it for several weeks now, I have grown accustomed on the best way to apply. To combat the sting and irritation, I applied some coconut oil to my underarm first and then applied the homemade deodorant.

Now on how well it works, I have much to say about it! It works better than store bought deodorant! My first test came, when I needed to spend the middle of the day outside mowing. I am also pleased to know, that my hubby is very happy with his. 1/2 Cup of Arrow Root (very similar to corn starch) mixed with 1/3 Cup of Baking Soda. Five tablespoons of Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.
