Give Me Big & Bold Brows a la Cara Delevingne - Kouturekiss - Your One Stop Everything Beauty Spot - kouturekiss.comPosted on January 8, 2013 Big, thick brows are definitely “in” right now. Have you seen supermodel Cara Delevingne ’s?! A little trick to quickly make your eyebrows bolder and darker is to use an eye shadow color that is a shade darker than your natural brow color and apply it with any thin eye brush (I used a Sephora angled eyeliner brush) . Start about ½ an inch away from the start of your brow (near your eye) and fill in any sparse areas with your dark eye shadow.
Hi Everyone! Merry Christmas my sweeties! I wish you all the best in the world, peaceful and joyfull homes and thank you for reading my blog and supporting me all this year. I want to share with you a holiday or better said a Christmas makeup look and I hope it will be useful to you. I used Christmas colors such as green, red, gold and some fine glitter.
Tutorial time! MakeupGeek has a peacock week, and I did few peacock inspired looks for the idea gallery. This was the other one, and another one was done with Urban Decay BoS III . First use your favourite eyeprimer ( I used TFSI), then base your ld with NYX jumbo pencil Black Bean:
Happy Monday to ya….hope y’all had a fabulous weekend!!! A few posts ago, I made reference to something I call “the tape method” and I said that I would do a follow up showing how to do it. Well…it is super easy and I probably just could have easily explained it using my words–but who doesn’t like pictures to go with?
A friend of mine asked me if I could do a smokey eye with brown eyeshadow and showed me a picture from the Maje spring summer collection. My friend has big beautiful green eyes so I chose quite a reddish brown which will make green eyes pop even though it suits other eye colours as well. I tried to keep it simple and use few products because I know how annoying it can be to see a look you like but there´s just too many products you´ll need so this look I think is very achievable without spending much money.. if anything as you probably have all you need already :) This was the picture she showed me (I´m sorry for the blurr, but it was the best pic I could find):
I do love a smokey eye. A bride, in her pristine white dress with a slightly edgy, shimmery, smokey eye is such a beautiful, modern bridal look. Photography by Sean Flanigan
Hey friends! I've put together yet another eye makeup tutorial since the others seemed so popular! My first 8 Step Makeup Tutorial received over 3000 22,000 (!!!) pins on Pinterest!
Ah yes that age old question “how to do a smokey eye.” As a makeup artist, it is the question I get asked most often. The smokey eye makeup look is the most asked for look in makeovers and special event appointments. You can perfect this sultry makeup look at home with some practice using these steps.
Last week we saw the first lesson in my ‘How to guide’ to bridal makeup, all thanks to Catherine Hughes from Ivy Clara make up styling. Catherine was kind enough to talk us through the important stages of ‘base’ and this week she is bringing us not just eyes but Alluring eyes! Over to Catherine………………………… Raise a brow I always begin with filling and shaping the eyebrows as I feel it creates a frame for the rest of the eye makeup.
This morning we have a real treat for you. Remember the DIY make up tutorials I shared a while back? Well, this is the final look that Catherine and I put together on the day Zoe also shot Mahj doing the vampy dark lip , me wearing a Disco eye and Laura also rocking a seventies Farrah-esque look .

We love simple + quick ways to turn up the wow factor, and switching to a metallic shadow does just that in an instant. In our latest exclusive video tutorial we’ll show you just how easy it is to recreate this very chic look from many-a-runway. 1. After evening out your skin tone with foundation, fill in your brows with light quick strokes mimicking individual hairs. True used Dior Brow Styler in Universal Brown, our favorite because of its super-fine point.
We get a lot of requests on how to do your makeup if you wear glasses, some from those who wear glasses to help see better and some from those who love the Geek Chic trend and wear glasses because they look so rad! Either way, please don’t think that you are limited with your makeup just because you wear glasses. You can absolutely wear any makeup trend!
