CMYK + RGB lamps by dennis parrens

http://www.designboom.com/weblog/cat/8/view/20543/cmyk-rgb-lamps-by-dennis-parrens.html first image 'CMYK lamp' by dennis parrens image © designboom in two projects presented at spazio rossana orlandi during milan design week 2012, dutch design student dennis parren plays with the effects of colour and of light projection onto surfaces of a space. 'CMYK lamp' features three coloured lights housed in a winding metal sculpture. their projections on the wall intersect and overlay at various points, creating a cacophony of shapes and colours-- some pure cyan, magenta, or yellow, and some combinations of two or all three in different shades. 'RGB lamp' projects coloured lights independently through small holes punched through a solid lampshade, creating a galaxy-like effect on the ceiling and walls of the space in which it is hung.
