The nice thing about electric power is you can play indoors. I first tried to climb two carpeted steps in my office. I plugged up two 7-cell battery packs, put it on the carpet, turned that baby on, flipped 'er in low, and pulled the trigger. It scared my five year old half to death! That thing lunged forward like a sling shot.
Wow, low gear is fast. Well, my son left the room and I turned the Summit toward the steps. Next I wanted to climb some boulders, so I took the Summit to a local construction site to do some crawling. The soft tires squished and gripped the edge of the rocks and pulled the truck over. Let's see what this bad boy will do in high gear! It was fun climbing hills in low gear with the lockers on and then shifting into high gear to hit the flats.
I flipped on the front differential and it pulled those corners so well I had to be careful not to do a doughnut.

Questionei a razão de tal afirmação, e me foi dito que o nitrometano esfria o motor, e claro que nem sempre a resposta tem algum embasamento, ou me foi justificada, ficando constatado que o nitrometano ainda é uma das místicas do modelismo em geral. Primeiro vamos pensar numa lógica simples.
O nitrometano aumenta a eficiência do motor, que pode se traduzir em maior eficiência na queima do combustível, então a pergunta que fica é: Como algo pode aumentar a queima (reação que libera calor) e ser responsável pelo maior resfriamento do motor? Talvez parte dessa confusão se dê em função do uso do "nitro" em carros de passeio, e seu efeito no motor desses. Voltemos a falar de aeromodelos.
