This is an excellent source of quality, Classical Arabic. Ibn al-Muqaffa was a masterful writer and is well worth the effort of reading.

The author is Ibn al-Muqaffa. The stories are translations of Persian tales and ultimately of Indian origin. While this edition presents them as children's stories, they are, in fact fables and they bear important political messages. This is an excellent source of quality, Classical Arabic.
