Apple Bitch | The Savior Of Apple Blogging

A issue experienced by a small number of owners of the new iPad has come to the front of the Apple support forums. Some users are suggesting that the Wi-Fi reception on the new iPad is noticeably weaker than the reception capabilities of the previous generations of iPad (via AppleInsider ). The thread seems to stem from users who have upgraded from a prior generation of iPad and have found that their new device has little or no connectivity to a wireless network in the same location. We’ve been tipped that a prototype iPad 2 with a test version of iOS has appeared on eBay with an asking price of $5000. The device, a 3G enabled iPad 2 with 16GB appears to be running an operating system that Apple uses for testing hardware known as SwitchBoard. http://www.applebitch.com/

Infinite Loop - Apple News

Apple's third-generation iPad, colloquially referred to as the iPad 3, is already setting Apple sales records after its first weekend on the market. Apple announced on Monday afternoon that it has already sold 3 million devices since the iPad's launch on March 16. The iPad 3 includes a number of upgrades over the iPad 2, including a sharp "retina" display, an autofocus 5MP iSight camera, and 4G LTE networking options. The iPad 3 also has beefed up graphics capabilities and battery capacity, largely to power its 4x resolution increase. Those features clearly caught the attention of both previous iPad users as well as new iPad users; one survey we saw suggested that half of those waiting in line to buy one last Friday were first-time iPad users. For comparison, the original iPad sold about 3 million units in its first full quarter of availability. http://arstechnica.com/apple/
http://www.razorianfly.com/ Posted by Arron on 13 Apr 2012 According to a report by AppleInsider, Apple CEO, Tim Cook, may have taken a trip to Valve Software‘s Bellevue, Washington headquarters this morning – which is interesting for a whole number of reasons. For starters, the very fact that Tim was reportedly there in-person himself suggests that there was a reason for his specific presence [...]

http://blog.cocoia.com/ I was sitting in an office as news started coming in yesterday that Steve Jobs had passed away. Shocked, I verified the news, paused speechless for a moment, shared it with my wife in astonishment, and worked on. I worked hard and finished designing a subset of an app that I would say is the best work I’ve done in my life. I haven’t really been ‘with Apple’ for that long. I’d gotten my first Mac not too long before joining the Academy in late 2005. Before that, in high school I bought a 2003 iPod with the money I’d earned working as a dish washer in a Chinese restaurant.
