I2P Anonymous Network (Invisible Internet Project)

I2P (« Invisible Internet Project ») est un réseau anonyme , offrant une simple couche réseau logicielle de type réseau overlay , que les applications peuvent employer pour envoyer de façon anonyme et sécurisée des informations entre elles. La communication est chiffrée de bout en bout. Au total il y a quatre couches de chiffrement utilisées pour envoyer un message. L'anonymat est assuré par le concept de « mixed network » qui consiste à supprimer les connexions directes entre les pairs qui souhaitent échanger de l'information. À la place le trafic passe par une série d'autres pairs de façon à ce qu'un observateur ne puisse déterminer qui est l'expéditeur initial et qui est le destinataire final de l'information.

On Feb 9, Iran started to filter SSL connections on much of their network. Since the Tor protocol uses SSL, that means Tor stopped working too — even Tor with bridges, since bridges use SSL too. We've been quietly developing Obfsproxy, a new tool to make it easier to change how Tor traffic looks on the network. In late 2011 Iran moved into the #2 position in global Tor user count, and several important political events are scheduled in Iran this month and next.
