This is a much shorter, less wordy version of the guide I posted on XDA-developers Section 1:Preperation: Download and unzip all the files needed Step 1: Get yourself ready, download all the items you need (save them all in an easy to reach directory on your pc): - windows drivers - root superuser access; donât unzip Data2SDInstallerNXE2.zip Data2SDReInstallerNXE2.zip. Damit wird wirklich alles auf die SD-Karte ausgelagert und damit dürfte sich ein für alle mal das Speicherproblem erledigt haben. Natürlich kann man sich anstrengen und das HTC-Desire immer och komplett “zumüllen”, aber zumindest 99,9% aller Nutzer sollten mit Data2SD keine Speicherprobleme mehr haben.
Viele Custom-ROMs haben dieses Script nicht eingebaut. Dies hat mehrere Gründe: die SD-Karte wird viel Stärker beansprucht, regelmäßige Backups der SD-Karte sind absolut Pflicht! Da sich LeeDroid vom HTC-Desire classic etwas abgewendet hat muss mal ein neues ROM her. Ich selbst finde die Sense Oberfläche nicht so toll.
Das liegt aber eigentlich nur daran, dass diese Oberfläche bei fast jedem HTC-Smartphone zu finden ist und ich es einfach irgendwie individueller mag. Nach einigem Stöbern bin ich über dieses ROM hier gestolpert und finde, dass dort alles wesentliche geändert wurde, um die vollen Vorteile von Root und S-Off auszunutzen, gleichzeitig ist es ein wirklich sehr schnelles ROM, welches alle möglichen Optimierungen beinhaltet. There are many apps available, like App2SD that move your applications to the SD card, but it's not enough because only the application is moved, not the data. To move the data to the SD card, there is a very nice utility called Data2SD.
