Change log : (ROM) htc sense look alike 2.2 on blade rom r2 - Android @ MoDaCo. Ok so have compiled a sense ui look a like/themed rom based on 2.2 with .32 kernal (from chinese dump) it is alpha and some features are missing to make it a propper sense ui themed rom see release map below.the rom is based on a mix between g formums and fibblesans rom. it includes all of the apps that fibble included (and apps ive added and deleted stock launcher) why? Because fibble is a long time poster and probably knows best what apps people want installed! I will do a lite release with only stock apps (plus my apps for the ui mod) it'll be a bit faster and around 70-75 mb the features i will work on next week for a release wed/thurs sat at latest that are very close to working are the followinghtc ime keyboard, live wallpapers that don't fc alot of the time currently only worked 1 in 10 times for me !

Today Google released a non-final preview of the Android 3.0 SDK to allow developers to test their applications with the upcoming tablet OS, inherit the new “Holographic” theme, and work on providing alternative layouts for extra large screens. The Android Developers Blog notes that applications developed with the Android 3.0 Platform Preview cannot be published on Android Market, but they will be releasing a final SDK in the coming weeks. Also released today were updates for the SDK Tools (r9), NDK (r5b), and ADT Plugin for Eclipse (9.0.0). The Android 3.0 platform highlights was also expanded to reveal several new features and a handful of screenshots. Android 3.0 will feature a system bar at the bottom of the screen for global status and notifications and also an action bar at the top of the screen for application control. Similar to previous versions of Android, users will have access to five customizable home screens.

Most of the native Android apps have received updates as well. CyanogenMod-7.2.0-RC1 is upon us… It’s been a long time in the making, but it’s finally here: CyanogenMod 7.2, the latest version based on Android 2.3(.7), has reached the release candidate stage! We’ve been delaying it for too long, mostly because new devices kept being submitted to us, and now we feel that at 69 devices, CM7.2 is more than ready for everybody to enjoy :) 7.2 adds a couple of backported features and fixes from Android 4 (ICS), over 20 new devices when compared to 7.1, and even some new features to boot (be sure to check out the new predictive contact search in the phone dialer!).

We’ve also fixed some bugs along the way. Some of them device-specific, others that affected everybody, and one in particular that’s been plaguing Android for a long time: the mysteriously vanishing SD-card ringtones are no more!
