Va. guardsman faces terrorism charge in W.Va. The Associated Press Posted : Tuesday Aug 21, 2012 19:29:11 EDT MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A West Virginia man arrested while running in desert camouflage with an AR-15 training rifle is a member of the Virginia National Guard who served a tour of duty in Iraq, and his father says he’s not a terrorist. Stephen Alemar tells The Hagerstown Herald-Mail that he believes his 23-year-old son, William Alemar, was just trying to stay in shape for his next military assignment when he was arrested near two Martinsburg schools on Monday.

William Alemar was charged with committing a terrorist act after police found him carrying two knives and ammunition clips, and wearing a bulletproof vest. Alemar remained in the Eastern Regional Jail on Tuesday on $50,000 bond. Defense attorney Kevin Mills said his team is currently evaluating whether Alemar may be suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, and it’s requested records from his service overseas.

“He’s not a terrorist,” he said. Video: Judge Warns Of Civil War If Obama Reelected. Recordings.talkshoe.com/TC-118018/TS-657110.mp3. Chesterfield man held in hospital on concerns over Internet posts

Brandon J. Raub, 26, was in Hopewell's John Randolph Medical Center on Saturday. "I'm currently in John Randolph in the psychiatric ward being held against my will," Raub said in a telephone interview. Reports of his detention Thursday have gone viral on the Internet. Raub said Secret Service, FBI and Chesterfield police officers came to his home Thursday. He was taken to the Chesterfield police station and then to the hospital, he said. "I talked to a Secret Service gentleman for 20, 30 minutes," Raub said. "I really love America, and I think that idea that you can be detained and sent somewhere without due process and a lawyer … is crazy. " Raub said he has been raising questions about 9/11 and signed a petition to reopen investigation of the terrorist attacks. "The FBI did not arrest him," Rybiski said. FREE ADEMO!
