Adele's '21' Is The No. 1 Album For 23rd Week
Adele's 21 clocks a 23rd week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 247,000 copies this week (down 17%), according to Nielsen SoundScan. It's the longest-running No. 1 since Prince & the Revolution's Purple Rain soundtrack scored 24 weeks at No. 1 in 1984 and 1985. The year-to-date sales for 21 now stand at 2.1 million (by far 2012's top album).
