Irresistible & Free DIY Pet Projects: DIY Water Bottle Crinkle Toy. One of Chuy’s favorite things to chew on are empty water bottles! I suppose he loves the sound. I however find it extremely annoying!!! BUT, if he loves it, then I guess it’s ok (lol). Chewing on water bottles can be a bit dangerous because your dog can end up swallowing plastic. Yuck! I am probably just as hard on my denim as gage is on his toys and since I usually buy second hand I do not feel all that guilty about only getting a year or so out of them. Take your left over denim pieces and flip inside out... Next take a black marker and create the outline of the shape you will want to create for the toy. Easy Handmade Jersey Knit Dog Toy. Zombie Plushie. For the last month I've been all about creating felt and fabric for my new sewing book. I spend more time pushing the pedal of my sewing machine than I do driving my car. I'm completely immersed in the stitching zone. When it came time to plan a library event I knew I wanted to share my enthusiasm for plushies with teens and zombies were the perfect way to grab their interest.

Coming up with this Zombie pattern was a snap, I folded a piece of loose leaf paper in half and then outlined a large head, short neck, arm and foot. Cut through both layers of paper and unfold, you'll have a perfectly symmetrical pattern. I use this trick whenever I design patterns. Stack two layers of fleece over each other and then pin the pattern ontop of the layered fabric. Set the pattern aside, re-pin the two fabric layers together to stabilize them while you seam around the outside edge. This is where all the teens started the craft, we had pre cut and pre sewn zombie bodies to this step. DIY spider Dog Toy. Good Morning! Today I'm showing you this DIY Dog Toy I made for my pug Obi This is so simple and self explanatory that I didn't take pics as I went along.

All I did was cut up some T-Shirts (I have a stock pile for crafts) into 1 inch- 1 1/2 inch wide strips and about 15 inches long... I used only 10 strips cause I have a small dog and didn't need a big toy. I tied a knot in the middle and then braided the fringe. After I braided a section of fringe I used a needle and thread and did a couple stitches to the end of the braid to keep it together. Nothing fancy..it's a dog toy :) You can also cut long strips, make one long thick braid, and then tie a knot on each end..which I think I'll do next time. I would suggest making the strips at least 20 inches long if doing that..possibly more.

Easy Peasy! "Obi...here's a new toy! " He's got that...Mommy's talking to me in that high pitched voice look right now LOL "Ugh..really? Have a great day and Happy Crafting!
