Small Gift Bows. Here is another great gift bow tutorial! These are a little bit easier to make than my Jumbo Gift Bows due to the smaller, more manageable size. They are also a great option because you can use almost any paper to make them! All of the bows you see here were made from pages out of a magazine. Holiday ads have great colors and images to make gift bows from. To make the bow seen at the top of the page you will need to start by selecting a full page out of a magazine and cutting it into strips: For this bow I cut my page into 7 strips, all 3/4" wide as seen above. Next, you will make your loops into figure 8 shapes by looping your paper. You will notice that you want to loop it so that the "wrong side" of your paper is facing up on both the center of your bow, as well as the end you looped towards the middle.

Secure your bow loops in the center with glue, double sided tape or a staple. Now your bow is ready to assemble! Typographic Gift Wrap. This year, I vowed to only make or buy handmade holiday gifts for my friends and family, and I've kept to it so far. But wrapping these gifts in commercial paper didn't seem to make much sense, so I wanted to create some handmade gift wrap to match. I happen to think a gift wrapped in newsprint is actually quite attractive, and love the look of text on a package, but wanted to put in a little more effort. So I came up with a cool option that's clean, masculine, and maintains the typographic look of the newsprint.

Plus, it eliminates the need for any "to:/from" tags, as the recipient's name is right there in tasteful type. Once I figured it out, it was actually quite easy and quick - less than ten minutes per gift. The unbleached brown craft paper is only $1.25 per roll, and the book pages came from 25¢ war novel at the secondhand shop. To me, this beats the pants off of any mass-produced "Ho Ho Ho" paper in both price and style.

Here's how to do it: Materials and Tools 1. 2. 3. 4a. 4b. 5. Woven paper gift topper. I‘m pretty chuffed with these woven paper gift toppers. They are a sinch to make and look really great with recycled newspaper wrap. The idea originated from this woven yarn gift topper which you can see at giverslog.com and from this image which comes from the book More Last Minute Knitted Gifts. How-to ♥ Cut some strips of colored paper. Mine were 0.5cm wide. They need to be long enough to wrap around your gift. If you have a paper shredder then this might make the job even quicker! I also made a rainbow gift topper….no surprise there then! Happy Monday everyone! 7459155604674410_k9Ed6SCO_c.jpg (554×3724) Free Halloween Scrapbook Paper To Print. These are for personal use only please :) Paper gift bag. —–Today I would like to share a template for paper gift bags that I’ve made.

Hope you like it. Om du inte vill använda ett av mina fem färdiga mönster så kan du ladda hem den blanka mallen och använda den på valfritt mönstrat eller enfärgat papper. Klicka på bilderna nedan för att ladda ner den mall som du vill ha. Ladda ner: / Download: Click on the pictures above to download the template you want. Trevlig helg på er! Gift tags from a tissue box. My favourite reason for reusing pretty packaging or printed materials for repackaging is that the nice prints make the (repurposing) transition effortless to achieve. Take this tissue box for instance. With its classic silhouettes designs (love the swing) I hoped to highlight them and decided to crop them as gift tags. There was enough for me to make some of the tags double sided as well, primarily to cover glue or torn marks behind. The faux eyelets were made by sticking dot stickers in place before hole punching. Pretty patterned paper bags! | next to nicx.

After I’d made up chocolate wrappers for my Husband’s Uncle and Aunt last week. I made some gift bags for our nephews. Creating a template that can be printed out on A4 paper. They looked rather cute! So I decided to do a series of them so that you can download and create your own! The finished bag size is 135mm high x 90mm wide x 35mm deep. As with the chocolate wrappers, I cut a roll of brown paper I have into A4 sheet size and fed it through my inkjet printer. It’s then very easy to cut the template out and use some adhesive or double-sided tape to glue them together! To make them a little more special, I’ve made them personalisable!

I’ve created them in two different sized fonts to allow for longer names. Milk Carton Packaging. I recently picked up a pack of white milk cartons from Riot Art and Crafts. They are made from a thick white card with a gloss finish, and I thought they would be the perfect way to package up some hard to wrap gifts. As it is never too early to start planning for Christmas, I decorated one in a Christmas theme this morning. The shape of the carton will be perfect for giving cookies, wrapped in a cellophane bag and then popped inside. I used the Cricut Very Merry Tags to cut the reindeer. I also made up one with a Ice-Cream Sundae birthday theme using the Cricut Sweet Treats Cartridge.

The cartons would also be great for kids birthday party favours. I think you will be seeing more milk carton projects over here in the future. Creative Gift Wrap / Holidays and Seasonal. My very favorite way to wrap gifts is using a roll of kraft paper to pop off a fun accent. The more dimensional the better! Felt is my very favorite texture during the holiday season. With two new sets of printable gift boxes designed (a Strawberry set and Woodland set) I thought that I would post a tutorial on how to make these simple boxes...

The gift box templates come as high resolution 300dpi jpg (or pdf) files and measure 8.5 x 11 inches (US letter paper) but can also be printed on A4 paper. The templates can be printed on any paper you like, I recommend using a card and printing with your printer's highest quality setting. I have used one of the Woodland themed sheets printed onto 225gsm white card for this tutorial. 1. Cut around the edge of the printed box. 2. Scoring along the lines first with a bone folder and ruler on a foam mat will make folding easier and neater. 3. You can leave the box as it is, or embellish it with ribbons, bows, tags etc. Holiday Gift Wrap Printables!
