This makes a great fizzy pink lemonade. It's definitely one of my must have summer staples. If it's hot, you're low on cash, and want to have a lot of fun, this is the answer! It makes just shy of 5 gallons, so it can serve a TON of people. Each drink packs a heavy whallop to your head, so you really don't need much per person. Enjoy!

This is such a TERRIBLE idea. Saw this and tried it. The chocolate needed to be melted, and the heat of it popped the balloons, made SUCH A MESS. A few stubborn attempts later, we had 2 chocolate balloons that hadn't popped.
I baked this spring bouquet of cupcakes for my Weekend Baker post on the Cooking Channel blog. I was limited in space and wanted to go into a bit lot more detail on how to pipe the icing roses. Creating these flowers is not at all difficult, but it helps to have some simple tricks of the trade. With a little practice and the right tools you can easily recreate these flowers. The contrasting color that tips the petals is one of those easy tricks that takes them from ordinary roses to extraordinary. Here is how I did it:
Care for a refreshing summer beverage that will have you dancing in the rain surrounded by rainbow unicorns? Then look no further than your own liquor cabinet for some creative, but economic ideas for fun-time summer sweetness! Once upon a time in the Summer of 2010, a joyous gathering of assorted performers reclaimed the streets and subways of our urban playground (New York City) carrying hula hoops, streamers, and instruments of musical merriment in the annual Kaleidoscope Parade. Knowing very well that I would need to travel by bus, boat, train, and foot with hundreds of colorfully dazzling dreamers, I needed to whip up something that was fast, easy, portable, and most importantly: SHAREABLE!

I told you guys that I'm wasting a lot of time nowadays looking at pretty pictures and interesting ideas on Pinterest. I already have a bunch of different boards for all kinds of stuff - be it food or interior design. But I especially liked the idea of someone making up Harry Potter related drinks. And then I googled the term and came up with a bunch of interesting stuff.
It’s time again for childhood and adulthood to collide in a most delicious way! You can infuse vodka with Jolly Rancher candies, much the same way we make Skittles Vodka . Actually, this process is much easier, and the results are fabulous: tasty and gorgeous to look at. You can whip up batches of five Jolly Ranchers Vodka flavors in only twelve to fourteen hours with minimal labor on your part, so they make wonderful, affordable, memorable gifts, too. The Materials: I bought more than I actually needed: a 1.75 liter bottle of vodka and a 3.75 pound bag of Jolly Ranchers .
Awesome Valentine’s Drink: Kid’s Bubbly Love Potion February 10, 2010 I’m teaching a Children’s Valentine Cooking Class this Friday, and I have been getting ready to wow the kids. Instead of doing my usual (but delicious) smoothies, I thought I would try to something more unique. I came across this recipe from Family Fun Magazine’s website. I tinkered with it a bit and changed it just slightly.
[Editor's note: Following the wonderful POM event last week and the New York City Wine and Food Festival , which POM was a proud sponsor in joining the fight to end childhood hunger by supporting Share our Strength and the Food Bank for NYC , we decided to use POM to make awesome recipes! Here's the first... looks delish!] This recipe is not just your average jello shot — I want you to think jello shot with a touch of class and elegance.
