Dans la bataille opposant les styles italiens et anglais, nous possédons une carte plutôt unique et qui signe immédiatement l’origine française – parisienne – d’une costume : le cran ou revers parisien. Cette ligne unique est en effet inconnue outre manche et les italiens ne l’utilisent pas à ma connaissance. C’est un cran de tailleur. Petite définition pour commencer : les dessins de l’anglaise et de la contre-anglaise forment ce que l’on appelle cran du revers.
