National Student Survey. The National Student Survey is a survey, launched in 2005,[1][2] of all final year degree students at institutions in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The survey is designed to assess students' opinions of the quality of their degree programmes, with seven different scores published including an "overall satisfaction" mark.[3] NSS is conducted by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).[1] The project is directed by Sami Benyahia, Research Director at Ipsos MORI.
