260 – The Captive Princess

Thursday, August 5 — 3:00 AM “Great mother o’ Spain,” indeed–this 101-panel goliath surely took some major effort to bring out, and I’m just about ready to feel the soft embrace of a pillow upon my face.

Questionable Content: New comics every Monday through Friday

This strip was inspired by an old French teacher at my high school, who would often mix aphorisms to hilarious effect. Word up to my local friends and the fellows and ladies of #xkcd for joining in on the hilarity (or should I say, hi-lion-ity). Get Over It

Thursday, October 7th, 2010 :: 9:05 am I don’t think we’ll ever get over something that well again. Did you know that Buttersafe is going to be at the Alternative Press Expo on October 16th and 17th? It’s true! You will be able to to find us at table 419. http://buttersafe.com/2010/10/07/get-over-it/
Before I get into the usual tale of how today's page came about, I wanted to let you folks know that all of us behind Gutters will be at New York Comicon this weekend, at the Blind Ferret Booth #2457 . For any artist out there who may be interested in doing a Gutters page, Lar and I will be reviewing portfolios there and then. Part of our mission for this comic was to discover new talent, as well as showcasing exisisting. To that end, if you're an artist looking to break through, this could be the step you're looking for. It's worth noting as well that every page of Gutters is paid for, above market rates. http://www.the-gutters.com/comic/42-david-namisato
