"Emotions reflect intentions. Therefore, awareness of emotions leads to awareness of intentions. Every discrepancy between a conscious intention and the emotions that accompany it, points directly to a splintered aspect of the self that requires healing." Gary Zukav Other Delusions: pride, ignorance, doubt, jealousy, laziness, loneliness, bruised ego
Introduction to Emotions "Delusions are states of mind which, when they arise within our mental continuum, leave us disturbed, confused and unhappy. Therefore, those states of mind which delude or afflict us are called 'delusions' or 'afflictive emotions'." His Holiness the Dalai Lama "Monks, there are beings who suffer not from disease of body for 1 year, for 2 years... even for 100 years. But it is hard to find in the world beings who can admit freedom from mental disease even for one moment, save only those who have destroyed delusions." The Buddha [Anguttara Nikaya (A.II:143); Samyutta Nikaya (S.III.:2)]

This site is devoted to presenting the ancient Self-Realization path of the Tradition of the Himalayan masters in simple, understandable and beneficial ways, while not compromising quality or depth. The goal of our sadhana or practices is the highest Joy that comes from the Realization in direct experience of the center of consciousness, the Self, the Atman or Purusha, which is one and the same with the Absolute Reality. This Self-Realization comes through Yoga meditation of the Yoga Sutras, the contemplative insight of Advaita Vedanta, and the intense devotion of Samaya Sri Vidya Tantra, the three of which complement one another like fingers on a hand. We employ the classical approaches of Raja, Jnana, Karma, and Bhakti Yoga, as well as Hatha, Kriya, Kundalini, Laya, Mantra, Nada, Siddha, and Tantra Yoga. Soham Mantra and Breath

Mercury Retrograde - Meaning and Periods from 2005 - 2010 Retrograde planets display an erratic motion which is linked to delays, recurrences, returns to previous conditions, reversals of events, and unexpected events occurring suddenly or becoming more dramatic and intense. A Mercury retrograde period is a difficult time to begin new projects linked to communication, networking, information-flow and travel. Extra caution is needed to ensure that messages are clearly understood and delivered; this often involves slowing things down and ensuring that compromises are not made for the sake of speed. Mercury retrograde reminds us that efficiency is built upon stability, so think of it as a maintenance period, ideal for revisiting old problems that call for action but lay ignored. If communication problems exist, Mercury retrograde will bring them back to your attention. By taking time out to resolve them now you will be better equipped to make smooth progress in the future.
