Everything that our senses can perceive and our mind can apprehend can be expressed in terms of categories. These might include our desires, our treasures, and all that we care for or try to avoid. Hence categories, the ganas, could be considered inevitable to our existence. The texts mention, all that can be counted and comprehended is gana. 1.2. 2. 3. True Religion. Have you ever thought, “What is religion or what does religion mean?”

True Religion

Religion is that which brings forth immediate results. Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is Shaivism’s supreme God, and is also known as Lord Mahadev, Lord Mahesh, and Lord Bholenath.

Lord Shiva

In scriptures, He is depicted in the following benevolent forms: An omniscient Yogi leading an ascetic life on Mount KailashA celestial householder living with His wife Goddess Parvati, and sons namely, Lord Ganesha and Lord Kartikeya. Goddess Temple: Worship Mataji to keep your prakruti good. Self Realization. Have you ever thought, “What is religion or what does religion mean?”

Self Realization

Religion is that which brings forth immediate results. Just as anger brings about instant results, so should the practice of religion. Param Pujya Dadashri affirmed, “That which brings forth results is called religion. When kashayas (the inner enemies of anger, pride, deceit and greed) decrease and eventually cease, that is religion.” Relative versus Real Religion Param Pujya Dadashri made a deeper distinction between relative and Real religion.

Hindu Goddess: Rules of Amba Mataji. Matajis or Mother Goddesses are celestial beings who represent the naturalness of prakruti (non-Self complex of mind, speech, and body).

Hindu Goddess: Rules of Amba Mataji

When asked about the benefits of worshipping Matajis, Param Pujya Dadashri explained that from their worship, prakrut (non-Self, relative) energies arise, as a result of which one’s sahajata (naturalness) increases. He elaborated, “Mataji is in the form of energy. Mother Goddess is spiritual energy. She is an embodiment of energy that one attains when ekagrata (unified concentration in mind, speech and body) occurs. She provides you with prakrut energy; your prakrut energies arise by worshipping Her.” Param Pujya Dadashri further described the benefits of Mataji’s grace. He said, “While Matajis do not destroy your demerit karmas, they do give you prakrut energies. The Worship of Amba Mataji Param Pujya Dadashri had an intimate connection with Amba Mataji, as He was named Ambalal (beloved son of Amba) in Her honor. Padmavati Devi Ashapura Maa Maa Bhadrakali. Amba: Devis in the form of natural prakrut energy.

Tri-Mandir. Religions in India, especially of the Soul, have existed since time immemorial.

Tri-Mandir

They emerge and flourish in eras when Gnanis (embodiments of Self-knowledge) and Tirthankaras (omniscient embodiments of the Absolute Self, who exist in exclusive service to the spiritual liberation of others) are present and accessible. History documents religions of the Soul thriving in proximity to Lord Krishna, Lord Ram, and Lord Mahavir. Today, They do exist but not as living beings; They rather exist as idols in several temples in India as well as other countries. Other goddesses in Hinduism. In Hinduism, "other gods" (or "other goddesses") can be, for most of the time, understood as a kind of "roles" of One God and these "roles" have their names.

Other goddesses in Hinduism

Even we human beings have roles of teachers, but simultaneously sometimes also roles of pupils (we learn some languages, for example), mothers and daughters. Shakta followers consider Devi Mata (Durga) the Supreme God. Roles of Durga are Kali, Bhairavi, Lakshmi, but not only these... I optically recognized Markandeya Purana and it is here available for download as text.

Devi Mahatmyam (Chapter 81 in Markandeya Purana) is also in the book. Chatuhsasthi (chausanth) Yogini - 64 Yogini The 64 Yogini cult was a mystical female cult which started in the 9th and ended in the 13th (AD) century (globally; some secret offshoots of it might exist even later). There is a very good website here, but with some wrong information. 64 Yoginis were organized. It was an organized cult which used black magic but with a positive goal. Aditi Alakshmi Diti.
