De tels récits de vulgarisation, Yves Duval en écrira près de deux mille, dessinés par Jean Graton, Albert Weinberg, Eddy Paape, William Vance, Dino Attanasio et autres Liliane et Fred Funcken, Paul Cuvelier, etc). De 1950 à 1990, il en produira plus de 1500.
