http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principality_of_Hutt_River The Principality of Hutt River , previously known as the Hutt River Province , is the oldest micronation in Australia . The principality claims to be an independent sovereign state having achieved legal status on 21 April 1972, although it remains unrecognised except by other micronations. The principality is located 517 km (354 mi) north of Perth , near the town of Northampton . If considered independent, it is an enclave of Australia.

A sustainable city , or eco-city is a city designed with consideration of environmental impact , inhabited by people dedicated to minimization of required inputs of energy, water and food, and waste output of heat, air pollution - CO 2 , methane , and water pollution. Richard Register first coined the term "ecocity" in his 1987 book, Ecocity Berkeley: Building Cities for a Healthy Future . [ 1 ] Other leading figures who envisioned the sustainable city are architect Paul F Downton , who later founded the company Ecopolis Pty Ltd, and authors Timothy Beatley and Steffen Lehmann , [ 2 ] who have written extensively on the subject. The field of industrial ecology is sometimes used in planning these cities.

Every home owner in British Columbia must pay in average less than one percent ( %0.5) of the assessed value of their properties as Property Tax to the governments(Provincial and Municipal) every year, f or instance if a house assessed as $1,000,000 the property tax would be around $ 5,000 a year, this amount is not the same in all municipalities, for instance a $ 300,000 condo in down town Vancouver is not taxed the same as a $ 300,000 condo in Coquitlam, the property tax rate changes every year and mainly effected by it's municipality budget . Property tax in BC is less that other jurisdictions like Ontario or California. When the annual budget is adopted by city council for the current year, City Council passes a rating bylaw. This bylaw sets a levy rate for every taxable parcel of land, as defined on the BC Assessment roll. This levy must be sufficient to raise enough revenue to pay all debts and obligations of the city falling due within the year. http://www.mikeshafie.com/propertytax

Rights-of-way, Easements, Squatters’ Rights and Restrictive Covenants — Canadian Real Estate Law

As the legal owner of property, you have the right to keep people from cutting across it or to stop people from just using it and taking it away from you, right? Well, not exactly. In certain limited circumstances, a person can lose control of their own property, or pieces of it, to people who are not owners of the property. These situations fall into three categories:

Paris Commune Archive

The Paris Commune, functioning between March 18 to May 28 of 1871, was spawned by the Franco-Prussian war. Germany's victory created discontent among the Parisian workers who were already unhappy over growing economic inequality and food shortages. A truce between France and Germany created further anger among workers who now were technically under German rule as a result of the armistice reached between Germany and France. This Armistice resulted in the Prussian army sending food to Paris and withdrawing troops to the east side of the city. Once a war indemnity (compensation for damages done) was paid, the troops would be withdrawn out of the east of the city and no Prussian troops would occupy Paris. http://dwardmac.pitzer.edu/Anarchist_archives/pariscommune/Pariscommunearchive.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_building#Adobe A natural building involves a range of building systems and materials that place major emphasis on sustainability . Ways of achieving sustainability through natural building focus on durability and the use of minimally processed, plentiful or renewable resources , as well as those that, while recycled or salvaged, produce healthy living environments and maintain indoor air quality. Natural building tends to rely on human labor, more than technology. As Michael G.

Torrens title is a system of land title where a register of land holdings maintained by the state guarantees an indefeasible title to those included in the register. Land ownership is transferred through registration of title instead of using deeds. Its main purpose is to simplify land transactions and to certify to the ownership of an absolute title to realty.

Archived: The Fake ID Thread

I'm about 3 pages into a write-up of my knowledge on the subject. In the meantime... I made this Zip File and have made successful idís. This is a guide to making a simple Id. This file is a collection of what I have made myself, and collected over the past 6 months.
A microstate or ministate is a sovereign state having a very small population or very small land area, but usually both. Some examples include Liechtenstein , Malta , Monaco , Nauru , Singapore and Vatican City . The smallest fully sovereign microstate is Vatican City , with 836 citizens as of July 2012 and an area of only 0.44 km². [ 1 ] Microstates are distinct from micronations , which are not recognized as sovereign states. Special territories without full sovereignty, such as the British Crown Dependencies , The Chinese Special Administrative Regions and overseas territories of Denmark , France , the Netherlands , Norway and the United Kingdom , are also not considered microstates.

List of micronations

Micronations , sometimes also referred to as model countries and new country projects , are small, self-proclaimed entities that claim to be independent sovereign states but which are not acknowledged as such by any recognised sovereign state, or by any supranational organization. They should not be confused with microstates , which are recognised independent states of a small size, nor should they be confused with unrecognised states , which may have legitimate claim to sovereign state status. [ 1 ] :5 Motivations for the creation of micronations include theoretical experimentation, political protest, artistic expression, personal entertainment and the conduct of criminal activity. [ 1 ] :4 Micronations can also exist in various forms, including in the physical world (on land, at sea and in outer space ), online, in the minds of their creators, or some combination of these. Some micronations issue coins, flags, postage stamps, passports, medals, and other items.
An autonomous building is a building designed to be operated independently from infrastructural support services such as the electric power grid, gas grid , municipal water systems, sewage treatment systems, storm drains , communication services, and in some cases, public roads. Advocates of autonomous building describe advantages that include reduced environmental impacts, increased security, and lower costs of ownership. Some cited advantages satisfy tenets of green building , not independence per se (see below). Off-grid buildings often rely very little on civil services and are therefore safer and more comfortable during civil disaster or military attacks. (Off-grid buildings would not lose power or water if public supplies were compromised for some reason.) Most of the research and published articles concerning autonomous building focus on residential homes.

Ecological sanitation

Ecological sanitation , also known as ecosan or eco-san , are terms coined to describe a form of sanitation that usually involves urine diversion and the recycling of water and nutrients contained within human wastes back into the local environment. [ edit ] Introduction to ecological sanitation An ecological sanitation (ecosan) viewpoint sees human waste and wastewater as an opportunity. When properly designed and operated, ecosan systems provide a hygienically safe, economical, and closed-loop system to convert human wastes into nutrients to be returned to the soil, and water to be returned to the land. Alternatively, solid wastes are converted into a biofuel .
