Furthermore, essential refinements in the theory over the past 20 years appear to have been overshadowed by the popularity of the initial formulation. As a result, the theory is sometimes criticized for shortcomings that have already been addressed.

There’s another troubling concern: In our experience, too many people who speak of “disruption” have not read a serious book or article on the subject. 1. 2. 3. 4. 12 Excel Formulas, Features & Keyboard Shortcuts Everyone Should Know. How to Prepare for an Employee Performance Review

The day you start working for a company or organization is the day you should start preparing for your performance review. Begin by making notes in a journal or file that documents all of your successes, results, positive feedback — and setbacks. Many people overlook this important step of performance review preparation. Reviews are generally conducted annually or bi-annually, so a lengthy period of time is covered and more often than not, even the best bosses may fail to recall activities that happened in the past and tend to focus more so on recent happenings.

Capture emails, positive feedback, dates, times, incidents and explanations — the more details the better. If you haven't made any notes, refresh your memory and review your past year prior to your evaluation. Be sure to accept positive reviews graciously and with humility.
