Multidimensional scaling

Multidimensional scaling ( MDS ) is a set of related statistical techniques often used in information visualization for exploring similarities or dissimilarities in data. MDS is a special case of ordination . An MDS algorithm starts with a matrix of item–item similarities , then assigns a location to each item in N -dimensional space, where N is specified a priori . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multidimensional_scaling

Limit-cycle

In mathematics , in the area of dynamical systems , a limit cycle on a plane or a two-dimensional manifold is a closed trajectory in phase space having the property that at least one other trajectory spirals into it either as time approaches infinity or as time approaches negative infinity. Such behavior is exhibited in some nonlinear systems . In the case where all the neighbouring trajectories approach the limit cycle as time approaches infinity, it is called a stable or attractive limit cycle (ω-limit cycle).

Medicinal chemistry

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medicinal_chemistry Medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry are disciplines at the intersection of chemistry , especially synthetic organic chemistry, and pharmacology and various other biological specialties, where they are involved with design , chemical synthesis and development for market of pharmaceutical agents, or bio-active molecules ( drugs ).
Training is the acquisition of knowledge , skills , and competencies as a result of the teaching of vocational or practical skills and knowledge that relate to specific useful competencies. Training has specific goals of improving one's capability , capacity , and performance . It forms the core of apprenticeships and provides the backbone of content at institutes of technology (also known as technical colleges or polytechnics). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Training

Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis is a biological process by which an animal physically develops after birth or hatching, involving a conspicuous and relatively abrupt change in the animal's body structure through cell growth and differentiation .

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/enhancement My memory of the Law, of the two dead sailors, of the ambuscades of the darkness, of the body in the canebrake, haunted me; and, unnatural as it seems, with my return to mankind came, instead of that confidence and sympathy I had expected, a strange enhancement of the uncertainty and dread I had experienced during my stay upon the island.

enhancement - definition of enhancement by the Free Online Dictionary

An electrically powered exoskeleton suit currently in development by Tsukuba University of Japan. Human enhancement refers to any attempt to temporarily or permanently overcome the current limitations of the human body through natural or artificial means. The term is sometimes applied to the use of technological means to select or alter human characteristics and capacities, whether or not the alteration results in characteristics and capacities that lie beyond the existing human range.

Preventive medicine or preventive care consists of measures taken to prevent diseases, [ 1 ] (or injuries) rather than curing them or treating their symptoms. This contrasts in method with curative and palliative medicine, and in scope with public health methods (which work at the level of population health rather than individual health).
